A letter for Mary..                                     Simone

Dear Mary.

Yesterday, the train (or whatever it was), came here. We all stood in it, and waited for the doors to open. Inside it was dark, and all was a mess. There were not enough space, and we were all hungry and thirsty, because we didn't get anything in all five days.

When we came out, again in a mess, we all ran and if anyone were too slow or if they fell, Hitlers men shot them. They bet us stay in a long row. The men in one, women in an other, and the children, moms and older people in the last one. If you said something wrong, or even just said something, they'd shot you. They chosen out some different men and women, and they should – with all from the third row – go with some crazy men. A man from my place told me, that he have heard some screams from a little house called: '' Bath and changing of clothes.'' He said that he thought it was screams from children.

Today we'd worked all day long. Until now, and I think it's like 1 AM or something. Me and four other men from my place were called up 5 AM and then we should bury all the dead people. It was so terrible to see all those people, that just lay there in a big pile. I was so afraid and I really wouldn't touch them, but one of them that had been there in a while, said that If I didn't, I would soon be one of them in the pile. So I did it, and it was the worst thing ever, but i'm sure that my stay here will only be worse.

I will write a letter for you every single day, and if something happens to me, I have a deal with one from my place, and he would tell you. I want you to know, that you're the one, that I fight for. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have done that today. You know, touched the dead ones. You're the one that keeps me up, and no one and nothing can change that. I can't promise, but I hope, and I almost know, that you're gonna see me again. Cause this is real love, and I love you, Mary. To the moon and back again, hundred of times.
